There are only a few times in our lives where we feel comfortable putting tiaras in our hair, and these are mostly for formal events such as prom or our wedding day. Hairstyles with tiaras are generally formal styles as well.

Generally the best idea for having a tiara in the hair is by having an up-do. A nice style to put a tiara in is one where the hair is pulled back in twists. One can have the rest of the hair up with straight wisps or ringlets, but with the tiara adding glamour to the hair, the ringlets may be a little much. In which case, try to stick with the straight wisps for a beautiful affect.

Another cute up-do with a tiara is to pull your hair back with simple, yet elegant clips, and have half of your hair still hanging down. Loose curls would work well here, and you have two choices for bangs. You can pull them back or leave them down, add a tiara and you have a brilliant look.

Up-do’s are not really necessary when using a tiara, a lot of the times it would depend on several other factors. What your dress looks like, your face shape and what accessories you have to work with would make all the difference. If you leave your hair down, curls would look stunning with a tiara. You can choose tight curls or loose curls, even if your hair has a wave rather than curl, it would look amazing.
